Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind with lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places with hails at isolated places over the country in 24-hour ending at 9am today.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind with lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Sylhet and Chattogram divisions and at a few places over Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur and Rajshahi division with hails at isolated places over the country,” said a met office release here on Thursday morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
In a warning message, the met office said, “In association with rain or thundershowers temporary west or northwesterly gusty or squally wind speed 45-60 kph is likely to occur over the regions of Tangail, Mymensingh, Cumilla, Noakhali, Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet.
