Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna, Barishal and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Dhaka, Tangail, Madaripur, Gopalgonj, Noakhali, Feni, Pabna, Patuakhali and Khepupara and it may abate from some more places, said a met office press release here on Monday.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 37.4 degree Celsius at Jashore and Monday’s minimum temperature 21.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Sylhet.
Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6.00 am on Monday was recorded 49 millimeters(mm) at Chandpur.
