Rain washes out BCB HP-Nottinghamshire match

The 3rd one-day match between touring BCB HP team and Nottinghamshire Academy team was abandoned after 21.4 overs of BCB HP innings due to rain at Brixworth Cricket Club ground on Sunday.
Earlier, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) HP side tasted the first victory of the eight match one-day series in England with a six-wicket victory against Nottinghamshire Second XI in their second match at Notts Sports Club Ground on Friday, featuring a century by skipper Nazmul Hossain Shanto who scored unbeaten 144 runs.
Earlier, BCB HP side started their campaign with a wash-out game where they scored 306/5 in 50 overs with Shanto’s century of 106 runs against the same County cricket team which scored 195/6 in 37 overs before the rain spoiled the match on Thursday.
In the remaining matches, BCB HP team was due to play the 4th match against Lancashire CCC 2nd XI on Monday at Blackpool Cricket Club while they will play the 5th match against Warwickshire CCC 2nd XI on Tuesday at Barnt Green Cricket Club, 6th match against Worcestershire CCC 2nd XI/Academy team on Thursday (Sept 14) at Woverhampton Cricket Club, 7th match against Warwickshire CCC 2nd XI on Friday (Sept 15) at Barnt Green Cricket Club and the 8th and last match on Sunday (Sept 17) against Club Cricket Conference at Stanmore Cricket Club.
