Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna, Barisal, Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Pabna with having chances of falling hails at isolated places in the next 24 hours as of 9 am today.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, said a met bulletin here on Monday. Trough of low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh, the bulletin said, adding that a low has formed over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Srilanka coast and now lies over Comorin Sea and adjoining South Srilanka as a well marked low. Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
The maximum temperature was recorded 36.2 degrees celsius on Sunday at Jessore in Khulna division and Monday’s minimum temperature 14.5 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet.
