Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Wednesday predicted that rain or thundershowers may occur in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday. “Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Dhaka and Khulna divisions and at one or two places over Barishal and Chattogram divisions,” said a met office bulletin issued here..
As an extended outlook for the next 48 hours, the bulletin predicted that the rainfall and thundershower activity may continue. However, night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall by 1-2 degrees Celsius over the country.
