League leaders Dhaka Railway SC tasted first defeat in the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League when they lost to Bachelors SC by 4-0 goals in the Super League at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.
After yesterday’s outcome, Dhaka Railway SC secured 25 points from 10 matches while Bachelors SC gained 23 points from as many outings.
Lalon of Bachelors SC scored three goals and his teammate Taiyeb scored one goal.
In the day’s other match, Police AC made a 2-2 draw with Shishu Kishore Sangha at the same venue.
Rana Das of Police AC scored two goals while Mehedy and Tanjil of Shishu Kishore Sangha successfully struck one time each on the board.
Police AC collected 19 points from 10 matches while Shishu Kishore Sangha earned 17 points from as many matches.
Tomorrow Bachelors SC will take on Shishu Kishore Sangha at 2.00 pm while Dhaka Railway SC will face Police at 3.45 pm at the same venue.
