The rail communication from Chittagong with the rest of the country resumes after 6 hours disruptions in railway track. Subarna Express leaves Chittatgong at about 1.30 pm yesterday and the Pravati Express and Karnaphuli Express cancelled their schedules yesterday but the evening trains will leave station as per schedule.
Station Manager of Chittagong Md.Abul Kalam Azad told that following the derail of wagon at Fouzderhat in Chittagong the rail link remained suspected for six hours.
Station Manager said the wagon derailed at Fourderhat in the morning and the rescue locomotives reached the spot at 9 am and cleared the track at about 1 pm. Soon after clearance from the traffic department, the Subarna express leaves the station at 1.30 pm.
