The National Consumer Rights Protection Department has conducted a raid on flour and flour wholesale shops in Savar, Dhaka. The operation was carried out at Nama Bazar on Tuesday afternoon. The company was fined Tk 50,000 for not having the purchase receipt and price list and arbitrarily increasing the price.
Later, Shilpi Enterprise was fined Rs 5,000 for not having price list and M / s Alam Enterprise was fined Rs 1 lakh for underweight, arbitrary price increase and discrepancy in selling price with list.
In addition to imposing fines at this time, every trader is warned to refrain from such immoral activities in the future.
