Rahimur Rasel, a popular actor, came into the limelight around 2010 when he acted in Dohon Somoy Aaj. Initially he was an assistant of director and actor Afzal Hossain
for three years.
While talking about his acting career Rasel said,
“I wrote a TV playwhile I was working under
Afzal in Money Porey Rubi Roy, which became a hit during that time. Then I decided to act as well. I got real exposure in the serial titled Kamini Koto Dur and ever since I was recognised as Rahimur Rasel. People mainly acknowledge me for my role as
a comedian.”
Recently, he has been working with a TV play, directed by Rawnak Hassan titled Moti Makhir Halchal. Of course, there is also his own serial
Genda Chora and some other plays for Eid.
