Today is birthday of popular film actress Racy. Though there is no special arrangement for the celebration of her birthday but she is going to face a memorable moment in her life today. She is going to receive a special award at a programme at Shilpakala Academy in the city’s Segunbagicha area for her contribution in the field of acting in the big screen.
While sharing her feelings in this regard Racy told this correspondent, “Today is my birthday but I have no special plan to celebrate the day. But this day is going to be special one for me. Today I am going to receive an honour for working in films. Everybody pray for me as I can pass the day successfully.”
Racy acted last released movie was Jakir Hossain Razu’s Niyoti. She last acted in a short film titled Obohela directed by Montazur Rahman Akbar. Amin Khan was her co-actor in that short film. It has already been released on Youtube.
Now Racy has been engaged with her ‘Racy Hair & Beauty Saloon.’ Before last Eid she started her business. She will be awarded Index Media Performance Award today night, she said.
