The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has sent a letter to the police headquarters seeking the responsibility for investigating 10 cases filed against seven accused people, including Helena Jahangir, actress Pori Moni and producer Nazrul Islam Raj. Earlier, Helena was expelled from the Awami League sub-committee.
RAB Legal and Media Wing Commander Khandaker Al Moin confirmed the matter to The New Nation on Monday afternoon.
He said that a letter has been sent to the police headquarters seeking responsibility for investigation.
