The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) will ensure full proof security of all Shaheed Minars including the central one on the occasion of today’s International Mother Language Day.
Director General (DG) of RAB Forces Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun told this after inspecting security arrangements at the Central Shaheed Minar at 11am on Sunday, reports BSS.
“There was no specific threat; however, the RAB is ready to deal with any situation. Maximum surveillance will be on the social media,” he said.
“We will come to the Shaheed Minar following the health guidelines, we have taken security measures to ensure security of all Shaheed Minars across the country,” the DG added.
