Elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) raided the city’s Gulistan Sundarbans Square Super Market, and seized counterfeit products including fake televisions.
RAB-3 Executive Magistrate Palash Kumar Basu has operated the drive by a mobile court in association with RAB-3 around 3 pm on Tuesday.
He told that they had information that the Sundarban market abounded with duplicate televisions and fake electronics.
During the drive, at least six shops were fined Tk 13 lakh so far.
Huge counterfeit televisions of various brands and other electronic products were also seized, Executive Magistrate Palash added.
