The members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Saturday conducted drives at three sporting clubs in Chattogram city.
Three separate teams of the elite force conducted the drives at Mohammedan Sporting Club in Sadarghat area, Muktijoddha Krira Sangsad on Ice Factory Road, and Abahani Limited Club in Halishahar area, said Assistant Superintendent of Police Mahmudul Hasan Mamun of RAB-7.Gambling equipment were seized from Mohammedan Sporting Club and Muktijoddha Krira Sangsad so far, the Rab official told our Chattogram correspondent
The drives began around 7:30pm and were continuing till filing of the report around 8:30pm.
