Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-7 recovered 895 bottles of Phensidyl along with a covered van at city’s Akbar Shah areas last morning .
Acting on secret information, a RAB team stopped a covered van and after search the RAB men found 895 bottles of phensidyl and arrested two persons in this connection, RAB source said. Media officer of the RAB, Chandan Devnath said the Phensidyl was being brought to Chittagong from Comilla.In the preliminary investigation, the elite force found the traders have been involved in peddling contraband drugs for long.
The team seized the covered van and cases were filed against the two drug traders with Akbar Shah police station.
