The Qulkhwani of journalist and freedom fighter Saleh Chowdhury will be held today at his residence at house-251, road-8, block-D, Bashundhara R/A in the city after Maghreb prayers.
Chowdhury died of cancer at a city hospital on September 1 at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife and three sons.
Columnist and Freedom Fighter Chowdhury was a senior Assistant Editor of the now-defunct Dainik Bangla. He also served as the President of the Commonwealth Journalists Association (CJA) Bangladesh chapter.
All friends, relatives, colleagues and admirers of the deceased to attend the Qulkhwani and pray for eternal peace of the departed soul.
