Qulkhwani of Hosne Ara Siddique, mother of Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique was held on Friday after Asr prayers at Baitul Aksha mosque in the city.
Teachers, students, officers and employees of the university and relatives of Hosne Ara joined it.
It may be mentioned that she died of cardiac arrest at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University on September 12 last.
