Assistant Commissioner (Land) in Ishwardi yesterday while exchanging views with local people at his Sher Shah Road residence.Referring to social safety net programmes of the government, the minister said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has improved the living standard of the poor and hapless people to a large extent. The country is progressing to become a ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by Bangabandhu. The minister directed the authorities concerned to take quick actions against those involved in the killing of a police officer at Pakshi and attempted on the life of a Christian priest.
