LGRD and Cooperatives Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain said only quality education could build Bangladesh as a worthy nation.
He said teachers could play vital role in building Bangladeshis as a good nation by providing quality education to students in order to make them worthy citizens of the country as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given priority to the education sector, the minister said this while exchanging views with teachers at Badarpur village in Faridpur on Friday. “Teachers are the most respectable persons in the society. They should join hand to construct the nation as developed one dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” he added. The programme styled “Performance of Teachers for Implementing the Quality Education” was arranged by Faridpur district administration. With Faridpur Deputy Commissioner Ommey Salma Tanzia in the chair, Superintendent of Police Jakir Hossain Khan and Sadar upazila chairman Khandker Mohtesham Hossain Babor, among others, spoke on the occasion.
