Quader urges AL followers to get united

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Saturday urged the party activists to get united forgetting all the divisions as the national election is going to be held in two years’ time.
“The national election will be held after two years. So, we’ll have to get united forgetting all the divisions in the party. We won’t compromise when it comes to party policy and ideal,” he said.
Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said this while addressing a mass reception at Noakhali Zila High School ground.
He also urged the party men not to outshine the achievements of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with their bad behavior with people. Presided over by district unit AL president Prof Khairul Anam Chowdhury Selim, the programme was attended, among others, by district AL general secretary Ekramul Karim Chowdhury, AL joint general secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, its joint secretaries Jahangir Kabir Nanok and Abdur Rahman MP and Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) President Saifur Rahman Sohag.
