University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh has directed all the private university authorities to form a monitoring cell for adopting awareness activities against terrorism, extremism and militancy.
The universities have been requested to send a copy of office order (name and designation of members) regarding the formation of monitoring cell.
At the same time, the universities have also been asked to send the monthly reporting about the activities undertaken by the cell to Education Ministry and UGC.
