Different private airlines will operate extra flights on different domestic routes before and after the Eid-ul-Fitr for benefiting home-bound people during the biggest annual festival of Muslims.
Apart from the regular flights, the US-Bangla Airlines will operate extra 14 flights to Rajshahi, 10 to Jessore, 4 to Syedpur and 2 to Barishal before the Eid from June 15 and 4 flights from Rajshahi, 3 from Jessore and one from Syedpur to Dhaka after the Eid.
The airline will operate Dhaka-Cox’s Bazar-Dhaka route with its wide-bodied 164-seated Boeing 373-800 aircraft along with its 76-seated Dash-8Q400 aircraft from June 27th considering the heavy traffic of domestic tourists to the beach town throughout the Eid holidays.
On the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr, Novoair, another private airline offered special discounts for two domestic routes and announced additional flights in 3 domestic routes.
Passengers can travel from Jessore/Saidpur to Dhaka route during 22 to 26 June and Dhaka to Jessore/Saidpur route during 27 to 30 June with a minimum fare of 2017 taka per person.
The airline will operate daily 1 additional flight to Jessore and Saidpur each from 22 to 25 June and Cox’s Bazar from June 28 to July 2.
