National Film Award winner actress Purnima will be seen to act in two telefilms and a play in coming Eid-ul-Fitr. She has already started
shooting of a telefilm titled Roddure Peyechhi Tomar Naam under the script and direction of Rajibul Islam Rajib for Channel i on May 26. Its shooting began at actress Richi Solaiman’s shooting house, Nilanjona in the city’s Uttara area.
While talking about story of the telefilm its director Rajib said, “While going to see a bride, Pavel met Nitu though it was scheduled to meet another female. But Pavel liked Nitu as bride instead of that scheduled person. At one stage, Nitu started to love Pavel. Story of the telefilm continues. Purnima is acting in role of Nitu while Emon is working in role of Pavel. Raisul Islam Asad is acting in role of Purnima’s father.”
While talking about acting in this telefilm Purnima told this correspondent, “Earlier I acted under Rajib Bhai’s direction. He works with good story so his works obviously become nice. Therefore, as a director he always gives comforts to the actors so that they can easily work.”
“I have taken Purnima to cast her in the
character of Nitu because she is a pretty and tender female. So I think Purnima is appropriate for the role,” director Rajib also said.
After working in this telefilm Purnima will also work in a play under Abir Khan’s direction. Therefore, she will be seen to participate in a magazine Ananda Mela during Eid.
On Rtv, Purnima hosted a celebrity show Ebong Purnima is being aired now.
It is noted that three years back Purnima acted in a telefilm titled Ay Khuku Ay directed by Rajibul Islam Rajib. She got the National Film Award for first time for acting in Kazi Hayat’s movie Ora Amake Bhalo Hote Dilona.
