When this correspondent talked with popular film actress Purnima at 11:10am she was at Apollo Hospital during that time. She went to hospital for check up. Last week she was hospitalized due to suffering from dengue fever. According to doctor’s advice, after taking one week rest at a time Purnima has returned to work today.
Purnima will host a show to be organized by Gazipur administration today afternoon in Gazipur where development activities of present government will be presented in the programme. Ferdous will host the show along with Purnima. She confirmed the matter yesterday.
Purnima said, “With Allah’s blessing I have recovered from illness. I took full bed rest. During this time I got many offers to work. But I did not have physical condition to work during that time. Today I will host a show in Gazipur along with my friend Ferdous. With his inspiration I have agreed to host in this event. Everybody pray for us.”
Purnima also informed that within this month she will start shooting of Noim Imtiaz Neyamul’s movie Gungchil. Therefore, in December, shooting of same director’s another movie titled Jam will start where Purnima will also take part.
Now Purnima is hosting celebrity show Ebong Purnima on Rtv. She got the National Film Award for acting Kazi Hayat’s movie Ora Amake Bhalo Hotey Dilona.
