The first direct meeting of the Bangladesh Public University Public Relations Association was held on Friday in the office room of the Director, Department of Information and Mass Communication, Gazipur Campus, Bangladesh Open University.
The meeting was presided over by Mohammad Abul Kashem Shikder, President of BPUJS, Director of Information and Public Relations Department of Bangladesh Open University and meeting conducted by General Secretary of BPUJS and Deputy Director of Public Relations and Publications Department of Bangladesh Agricultural University, Din Mohammed Dinu, Acting Director of the Public Relations Office of the Jahangirnagar University and BPUJS Vice-President. Mohiuddin Ahmed Sumon, Md. Shamsul Alam Shibli, Deputy Director, Public Relations and Press Publications Department, Maulana Bhasani University of Science and Technology and Joint General Secretary, BPUJS
Md. Jahangir Kabir, Additional Director, Public Relations Office, Bangladesh University of Professionals and Treasurer, BPUJS, attended the meeting with Md. Al-Amin Khan, Assistant Director, Department of Information and Mass Communication, Bangladesh Open University.
Other members of various public universities also joined the meeting online. EC members working in the public relations and publishing departments of different universities participated. The meeting unanimously approved the draft constitution of the Bangladesh Public University Public Relations Association (BPUJS) and approved the EC committee.
