Pubali Bank Ltd (PBL) and National Bank Ltd (NBL) have been honoured the top ten remittance growth award by the center for Non Resident Bangladeshis (NRB).
Managing Director Md Abdul Halim Chowdhury of Pubali Bank Limited and Deputy Managing Director of NBL received the award from MA Mannan MP, State Minister for Finance and Planning at a function held at Sonargaon Hotel in the city recently.
In the award giving ceremony State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam MP, former President of FBCCI Qazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, former Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Mohammad Farasuddin, Australian High Commissioner Greg Wilcock, Chief of Political and Economic Affairs of US Embassy Brad Steel Well were present as guests.
MS Shekil Chowdhury, Chairperson of the Centre for NRBs presided over the function.
