The Public Service Commission (PSC) submitted its annual report-2014 to President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban. The report was handed over to the President on Thursday when a 15-member delegation of PSC led by its chairman Ekram Ahmed called on him at Bangabhaban.
During the meeting, the delegation apprised the President of the various activities of the commission as well as aspects of the report, President’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told UNB. They informed President Abdul Hamid that the commission took 215 examinations including BCS examinations in 2014, of which 156 exam results were published.
Transparency and acceptability of PSC have been enhanced compared to the past, they added.
