Cabinet to clear BD Bridge Authority Bill-’15 tomorrow

The Cabinet on Monday likely to approve the draft of “Bangladesh Bridge Authority Bill-2015”, official sources told BSS.
The draft is ready to be placed in the next weekly cabinet meeting, which will be held tomorrow at the Bangladesh Secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.
The cabinet is set to approve in principle formation of two separate committees – inter-ministerial legal assistance committee and a cabinet committee – for taking necessary initiatives to resolve cases among public organisations.
Besides, the cabinet would be informed about five visits of different ministers and state ministers in various conferences and meetings in different countries.
The cabinet would also be informed about the outcome of the 8th Session of the Sub-Committee on Aquaculture, organised by the United Nations Food and Agriculture, held from 5-9 October in Brazil.
The experience of the visit of a delegation to the Bangladesh Cultural Festival, held from 10-15 September in Russian would also be briefed in the meeting.
State minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroz Chumki likely to brief the cabinet about her participation in the 4th International Conference on Poverty Reduction and Child Development, and ARNEC’s 2015 Asia-Pacific Regional ECD Conference: Transformative Power of ECD for Equitable Development, held on 21-24, October, 2015 in Beijing.
The outcome of the 3rd Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting, held in Jakarta would be briefed at the cabinet when Begum Tarana Halim would brief on her recent visits to Hungary and Korea.
