Staff Reporter :Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee examinations began on Sunday.2.7 million students are sitting for the PSC examination and 311,265 for the Ebtedayee examinations this year.The examination started at 11am and ended at 1:30pm. Disable children will get 20 minutes of extra time to write on their answer scripts.Primary and Mass Education Minister Mustafizur Rahman visited the examination centres at Dhaka’s Viqarunnisa Noon School, Motijheel Government Primary School and the Monipur School at Mirpur.The minister said that any act of negligence and irregularities would be dealt with as per law.He said that printing and distribution of question papers had been done under special security measures and that they were contemplating to complete the whole process digitally for future.The PSC English examination was held yesterday. Bengali will be held on November 24, Bangladesh and Global Studies on November 25, Elementary Science on November 26, Religion and Moral Education on November 27 and Mathematics on November 30.For the Ebtedayee candidates, English examination was held on November 23. Bengali will be held on November 24, Paribesh Parichiti Samaj/ Paribesh Parichiti Biggyan on November 25, Arabic on November 26, Quran and Tajweed on November 27 and Aqaid and Fiqh on November 30.
