Information Minister and Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Dr. Hasan Mahmud said, primary education is one of the foundation to win in life struggle and to reach the desired goal.
So primary education should be more creative and strong foundation to build the children as a proper citizen in coming days. He mentioned the children should be build with proper education in lower level beside the moral education aimed at accelerating the development of the country by new generations. He told this while addressing the annual founding anniversary of Eden English School at Shikarpur, in Hathazari upazila as Chief Guest yesterday afternoon .
Founder Chairman of the school Md. Khaled Mahmud presided over the inaugural session. Mother of the Information Minister Prof.Advocate Kamrun Nahar Begum formally inaugurated the anniversary programs .
Vice Chancellor of CUET Prof Dr. Rafiqul Alam, Hathazari Upazila Chairman SM Rashedul Alam, Principal of Chattogram Grammer School Tahsin Khan, Principal of Eden English school Mahanur Tasnim Mili were present on the occasion as special guests. Dr. Hasan Mahmud in his brief deliberations urges the school management to teach the students with Bengali culture rather western culture .The minister praised the school committee for development of school infrastructure and sports friendly environment .
He said infrastructure development of a school not meant as good school rather good academic teaching by the experienced teachers. At the end of the program, Info minister handed over honourary crest and awards to the talent students and heads of the different schools of the upazila.
