Elder son of noted playback singer Khalid Hasan Milu, Protik Hasan is passing busy times with rendering playback and new original songs now. He has to also remain busy with stage shows round the year. Protik has already released his two new original songs. These are: ‘Tomar majhe hariyechhi ami, which lyrics and tune were composed by Syeda Hema, ‘Barchhe Byatha,’ which lyrics were written by Faisal Rabbikin and tune was composed by Rezwan Sheikh. Singer Protik Hasan has arranged music of his first song, which music video was made by Soumitra Ghosh Emon. This song was released Protik Hasan’s self-titled YouTube channel.
According to Protik Hasan, he has huge expectation about his two new original tracks. These songs were released in the beginning of this month. Meanwhile, the singer has lent his vocal for a title track of a movie titled ‘Ustad,’ directed by Saif Chandan. Anik Biswas wrote lyrics of this title song while Ahmed Humayun has composed its music. Title of the song is ‘Sobai Bole Ustad.’
Earlier, Protik Hasan rendered a playback song titled ‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’ in Saif Chandan directed movie ‘Abbas.’ Someshwar Ali wrote lyrics of this song while Ahmed Humayun composed its music. While talking about releasing his two new original tracks and title song for a movie, Protik Hasan told this correspondent, “Among two new original tracks, I am hopeful about the song ‘Tomar majhe hariyechhi ami.’ Singer Nodi also lent her voice with me in this song. This song is melodious and Nodi rendered the song well. Her voice is so sweet. Another song ‘Barchhe Byatha’ is also good. I have liked lyrics and music composition of the title song of movie ‘Ustad.’ If shooting of this song is done properly it will be liked by the viewers.”
