Jaya Ahsan and Prosenjit Chatterjee are set to unite on the silver screen with their new movie Asatoma Sadgamaya.
Directed by Indraadip Das Gupta, the movie centers on human psyche and how the impact of Coronavirus affects our overall behaviour. Though Coronavirus is the backdrop, the film is not entirely on the pandemic.
Indraadip Das Gupta will direct the movie with only five characters in mind so that he can maintain social distance among the actors following the new safety guidelines.
Besides Prosenjit and Jaya, the film also stars Rudranil Ghosh and Arun Mukhopadhyay. Search is still on for the fifth character.
The script for the movie is jointly written by Padmanabha Dasgupta and Indraadip. Music will be composed by the director himself.
