Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division has taken various programmes to observe the Digital Bangladesh Day-2019 all over the country today.
As part of the programmes floral wreaths will be placed at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the premises of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in the city’s 32, Dhanmodi at 7 am. State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Pulak and officials of ICT Division will present on the occasion.
A rally will also be brought out from the South Plaza of Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban at 9 am. Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will present as the chief guest in the programme.
A concert will be held on the premises of United International University in the city’s Basundhara at 3 pm.
Besides, seminar, symposium and essay and drawing competition will also be held in district and upazila levels marking the day.
