Dr Piash Karim, a professor of the Department of Economics and Social Sciences of BRAC University, died of cardiac arrest at a city hospital early Monday. Family sources said Dr Karim breathed his last at Square Hospital around 5:30 am. He became popular through attending various talk shows and seminars as a resource person.
