Being appointed by the President of Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh and Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mokbul Ahmed Khan has joined at the European University of Bangladesh as the Vice Chancellor with effect from October 6, 2016, says a press release .
Prof Dr Mokbul Ahmed Khan was born of a respectable Muslim family of Gopalgonj.
He obtained his B.A. (Hons.) and M.A. degree in Economics from Dhaka University and Ph. D. Degree from Moscow Textile University in 1976.
In his long teaching career Prof. Dr. Khan served as professor of Business Administration in as many as five universities including Bradford University of UK and Otago University, New Zealand.
He also served as the Textile Adviser of the World Bank for Govt. of Bangladesh for more than 16 years. Dr. Khan actively took part in the liberation war of 1971, as a member of the Mujib Bahini in Gopalgonj district.
Prof. Dr. Khan has authored 10 books and 200 research and consultancy articles published in national and international journals.
