Prof A K Azad Khan, eminent physician and social worker of the country and the President, Diabetic Association of Bangladesh has been elected as President of the Diabetes Asia Study Group (DASG). The election was held in Muscat, the capital of Oman on 1st May this year.
Diabetes Asia Study Group (DASG) is a non-profit organization which was formed to create awareness and to promote and encourage research on Asian population.
Prof Azad Khan is the pioneer of the movement for preventing and creating awareness of diabetes in the country.
