Professor Anwarul Azim Arif has taken over as the Vice-Chancellor (VC) of International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC). He took office on Sunday last. On Monday (March 29), the new Vice-Chancellor was greeted with flowers by the Chairman of IIUC Board of Trustees (BOT), Chittagong-15 MP Prof. Dr. Abu Reza Muhammad Nezamuddin Nadvi.
Mrs. Rizia Reza Chowdhury, a member of the Board of Trustees of IIUC, Prof. Dr. Md. Fasiul Alam, Professor Md. Saleh Zahur, Professor Kazi Deen Mohammad, Treasurer. Muhammad Humayun Kabir, Registrar Muhammad Shafiur Rahman, Director of Bangabandhu Research Center Professor Sarwar Alam, Director of the Center for Research and Publication. Deans of various faculties including Akhtaruzzaman Khan, chairman of the department, senior teachers and officials were present on the occasion.
