Dhaka University Economics Department’s Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed has been appointed as Vice-Chancellor at the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Sylhet on Thursday.
Prof Farid Uddin Ahmed was now on post-retirement leave. He was appointed for four years. The tenure of existing VC Aminul Haque Bhuiyan as the ended on July 27.
