Dr AFM Abdul Moyeen, a professor of Dhaka University’s management department, has been appointed as the vice chancellor of Comilla University.
In this regard, a gazette notification signed by deputy secretary of the education ministry Mahmudul Hasan has been issued.
“As per section 10 (1) of the Comilla University Act, 2006, President and chancellor of Comilla University appointed Dr Moyeen as Vice Chancellor for four years”, read the notification, reports BSS.
The incumbent VC Prof Emran Kabir Chowdhury’s tenure will end on January 31.
