BNP Fatikchari upazila unit in Chittagong blamed ruling party candidates in 15 UP elections in Fatikchari upazila for violating the election code of conducts and threatening the nominees of BNP and opposition alliances .
This was alleged by the Fatikchari Upazila convenor Md. Sarwar Alamgir at the press meet held yesterday morning at Chittagong Press club hall .
BNP Upazila convenor Mr. Sarwar Alamgir read out a written statement before the newsmen there. Other committee members of the UZ unit were also present in the press meet.
The press meet was told that ruling party candidates in the first and se cond phase election across the country set example of unprecedented vote rigging and in tshe 3rd phase polls, elections of 15 unions in Fatikchari upazila will be held on April 23 next.
As a part of continuous process of democratic movement of establishing the vote rights, BNP nominated the candidates for participating elections.
