A probe report ordered by the Anti Corruption Commission has recommended filing a case against ruling Awami League MP Enamul Haq on charge of alleged amassing of illegal wealth.
ACC inquiry officer Jatan Kumar Roy submitted his report on the graft allegation against Enamul to ACC
director Nur Ahmad on Tuesady, a source familiar with the probe said.
The probe report said Enamul illegally accumulated wealth worth Tk 213 crore during the 2009-2014 tenure of the Awami League-led government.
Enamul allegedly concealed information about Tk. 213 crore in his wealth statement submitted to the ACC early this year, said the source speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.
