The probe committee formed over the death of four people in a clash between BGB members and some villagers in Matiranga upazila submitted its report on Wednesday.
The committee chief additional district magistrate Khandaker Rezaul Karim submitted the seven-page report to deputy commissioner Protap Chandra Biswas around 11:45 am.
However, the committee chief did not disclose anything about the report.
Earlier on March 3, four people, including a
BGB soldier, were killed and two others sustained gunshot wounds in a clash between BGB members and villagers at Gazinagar Bazar in Matiranga upazila.
Hearing the news of death of her husband and two sons, Shahab’s wife Rawshan Akhter Ronju Bibi died of a heart attack. Later, the district administration formed the probe committee to investigate the clash.
