The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has started the investigation against Deputy General Manager of Janata Bank, Laldighi East Corporate Branch of Chittagong, Md Didarul Alam Chowdhury in connection with loan irregularities.
The ACC appointed Deputy Director SMM Akhtar Hamid Bhuiyan for investigation.
Didarul Alam Chowdhury sanctioned Tk 21 crore to Zilani Tea House
Limited, Zilani Fashion Wears Limited and Zilani Padding Limited through fake documents. Didarul Alam Chowdhury got a flat and financial advantage from the Zilani Group.
An 84-page written allegation was submitted to the ACC Headquarters. The ACC took the decision after analysing the allegations.
The ACC sources said that, the Commission sent a letter to Didarul Alam Chowdhury seeking papers related to the investigation.
