Gono Bishwabidyalay, Savar organized a reception program at its own auditorium on Sunday in honour of writer Professor Dr. Golam Abu Zakaria. Professor Zakaria, visiting professor of Gono Bishwabidyalay, Savar and Professor of Heidelberg University recently achieved `Bangla Academy Probasi Lekhok Purosker 2013′.
Eminent language activists Ahmed Rafiq & writer Professor Hayad Mahmud graced the reception program as chief & special guest respectively with Vice Chancellor Professor Mesbahuddin Ahmed in the chair.
Professor Dr. Mahmud Shah Qureshi, Dean, Faculty of Basic and Social Science, Dr. Hasin Anupama Azhari, Dean, Faculty of Mathematical & Physical Science and Kumaresh Chandra Pal, senior lecturer, Deptt. of Medical Physics and Bio Medical Engineering also spoke in the program.
