The Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Md. Shahab Uddin, MP, said, “Pro-Akhirat (afterlife) philosophy of life can check deviation from human values in the society.” He urged all to nourish human values practicing Divine Injunctions.
The minister was delivering speech as the chief guest in the seminar “The Role of Islamic Values in Checking the Deviation from Human Values” at the National Press Club in the City on Sunday. Bangladesh Anjumane Talamije Islamia, Dhaka organised the programme.
The special guests in the seminar were Ahmad Hasan Choudhury Fultoli, Assistant Professor, Dhaka University, and Poet Maulana Ruhul Amin Khan, Executive Editor, The Inqilab. The chief speaker was Akhtar Hosain Jahed, President of the organization.
The speakers emphasized on building of character in the light of Islam-the eternal and universal divine guidance for humanity to save the society.
