Convicted person of murder and arms ammunition case died on the way to Gazipur Sadar hospital.
The accused was identified as Md. Jamal Mridha, 33.
He is the son of Alif Mridha at Elisha village in Bhola district. He was taken at Gazipur Hospital as he was ill due to heart attack on Monday.
Sinior Jail Super of the Jail, Abdur Razzak said, Jamal had been suffering from heart attack for a long time. He informed the doctor on duty about the pain of his heart. So they referred him to Gazipur Sadar hospital from Kashimpur Jail clinic.
Jamal Mridha is convicted in two murder cases of Shah Ali Thana and one case of arms and ammunition of Pallabi Thana in Dhaka City , he added. He was living as convicted person in Dhaka City jail. He was sent to Kashimpur Jail on 24 January in 2014.
