A housewife was killed by her husband and in law’s family member at Shreepur village under Boalkhali upazila on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Prianka Dey, 26, wife of Liton Gosh, hailed from the same village.
Police arrested her husband, Father-in-law and Mother-in-law identified as Doyelhari Ghosh, 62 and Jornarani Ghosh,55, accused of killing her.
Shamsul Islam, officer-in-charge of Boalkhali Police Station said Liton and Priyanka had got married four years ago. Liton lived abroad and recently he came back to Bangladesh and he is an addicted. He along with whole family tortured Priyanka every day.
On Tuesday last, her father-in-law informed priyanka’s family over phone that she had a stroke and moved to hospital.
