Police arrested the prime accused in army man Lutfar Rahman killing case from Aliara Bazar area in Kachua upazila on Saturday.
The arrestee was identified as Manik,35, son of late Mafijuddin of the same village.
Alamgir Hossain Majumdar, officer-in-charge of Kachua Police Station, said on secret information, a team of police conducted a drive in the area in the afternoon and arrested Manik, a charge-sheeted absconding accused in the case for killing army man Lutfar Rahman.
The arrestee was also wanted in several other cases filed with the police station, the OC added.
