President urges Saudi govt to take more manpower from BD

President Abdul Hamid has requested the government of Saudi Arabia to take more unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled manpower from Bangladesh.
The President made the request when newly appointed ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Bangladesh Abdullah HM Almutairi presented his credentials to the President at Bangabhaban here on Wednesday.
Welcoming the envoy, Abdul Hamid said the bilateral relations between the two countries are very excellent and hoped that the relations will be further strengthened during the tenure of the new envoy, President’s press secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS.
He said Bangladesh expressed its unequivocal support to all the efforts undertaken by the Kingdom of Saidi Arabia to restore peace and stability as well as to reestablish the legitimate government in Yemen.
Abdullah HM Almutairi said Saudi Arabia gives importance to its relations with Bangladesh and said he would put the highest effort to strengthen the bond of friendship between the two countries.
The President expressed gratitude to the king, the government and its people for extending all-out cooperation to the pilgrims from Bangladesh every year.
