President M Abdul Hamid will return home today after a medical checkup in Singapore.
“A regular aircraft of Singapore Airlines Limited carrying the President and his entourage is expected to land at Hazrat Shahjalal ® International Airport at about 10:40 pm today,” President’s Assistant Press Secretary Imranul Hasan told BSS on Monday.
President Hamid is due to leave Changi International Airport, Singapore, for Dhaka at about 7:50 pm today ending his six-day visit there for health checkup and eye treatment, the APS added.
High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Singapore Mustafizur Rahman will see the President off at the airport.
